The FEI is looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant (60%) to provide support to the FEI Solidarity & Development Department. This is a fixed-term contract of 10 months, due to begin on 1 March 2026, or on a mutually agreed date. The position is based in Lausanne.

Purpose of the Role
The FEI Solidarity & Development Department of the FEI supports National Federations in developing equestrian sport worldwide. It manages key programmes such as the FEI World Challenge series, comprising over 230 competitions annually across six disciplines, and the FEI Coach Education Programme, which supports the development of national coaching structures. Reporting to the Director of FEI Solidarity & Development, the candidate will support the department in coordinating competitions, monitoring coach education courses, and assisting with related administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Administration of the FEI World Challenge series online platform:
- Calendar updates
- Officials’ record updates including status verification in accordance with the rules of each series
- Competitions’ follow-up (missing documents, reminders, etc.)
Administration of the FEI Solidarity Coaching database, including:
- Creation of new participants profiles
- Update of existing profiles
- Recording of Coaches work submission
- Recording of Tutors’ feedback (course & post-course work evaluations)
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered
- Entry-level to 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office?
- Fluency in English and French is essential?
- Experience and knowledge of equestrian sport
- Rigorous, meticulous with strong organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good team player
